i have a speaker from a minicomponent, i want to connect a spakear(just the speaker, not the whole minicomponent) to the pc "green port"(for headphone), i connect it but i not get sound, i think is a power problem. how i can make it work?

I heard of a really loud speaker powered on Nitrous before, but never have seen one. Can anyone give me info or a link?
