From 8th grade through Sophomore year of college I was sure I would be a genetic engineer, but then discovered that theoretical genetics is fun and practical genetics is 8-12 hours a day staring through a microscope, plus I had an incident that made me realize how much I wanted to help kids suceed at about the same time.
