I have had 6 cars stolen from me in my life, don't worry about it, 3 of them came back in one piece and the last one the cops came at 3am and told me to go and get my car, it is causing a traffic hazzard.
it was smashed up in the middle of an intersection and someone had already taken all the wheels off it before I got there, then I found the people who stole it had used it as a toilet, no longer did it have no wheels but the back seat was full of human waste and pee.
I lost out too, I just called a towing company to take it away and had to pay for it too, they never caught the culprits :(

When I have my car stolen I pray it never gets found. Then the insurance is good for a replacement.
If you use less insurance this is the downside - all the hassle and costs and no $$$$.
With full insurance, if the car is a total "write off" when it gets found, after paying for a replacement, the insurers sometimes will let you buy the wreck from them for 1$. You can recover more $$$$ by getting this repaired and resell it.
The insurers like it bcos they don't have the hassle (and expense) of disposal.

I am taking care of my ma,sister,son,self.I"m disabled from my job,so no not full insurance.

Pour out a little liquor....hey that has happened to me and my wife on 2 occasions in the past 4 years the most recent 1 though it only had approx. 10000 miles on it, it was a new vehicle and it wasn't fully covered either. The 1st incident happened in '04 we got it back stripped it was repaired and damn it!!! the BUMS/THIEVES tried to steal it again 2-3 wks later but couldn't, that's when we decided to go newer, not the best choice cause that's the 2nd incident which I was describing 1st. Trust me I feel your pain STILL TODAY. Eventually I intend to go foreign Lexus maybe for the area I live in and most people around me aren't driving those maybe it'll be a safe buy. I hope, you know practical/maintenance free almost not so common with the BUMS/THIEVES!

Yep, but when things out of your unexpected like this happen all you can do is keep moving forward in life try to get over the loss, and yes it's hard as hell to not think about it. But I believe what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, in regards to problems in your life when you handle them in a positive manner.
