The basic wiring for a CD player or radio is the audio outputs and the power wires. Some get the negative pole from the frame of the car, other directly from he wiring. Usually the red and black wires are the power wires. Get a voltmeter and touch your power wires from the car and see if you are getting voltage through them. Some of these wires require the car to be turned on. If there is power going through the wires see if there is an in-line fuse in the wires going to the CD deck. If the fuse is not blown and there is power going in then you may have a faulty CD deck. Hope this helps.
