im curious, what is your take on the multi-dimensional aspect of super-string theory? that there are infinite dimensions? if true it would certainly explain a lot. what if it were possible to access another dimension? what if that was being done, however briefly....?
useless, but interesting speculation, to me. we only have one.
And those that exist in the ten dimensional space time required by recent string theory are beyond access - a bit too much Star Trek there free.
all over the board today, aren't you..:)whats in a name? with all the different particles, my personal favorite being the 'strange' quark, a 'graviton' most certainly exists...i got into particle physics, especially the string and super string theories from left field, i was looking into spirituality in the modern world, Dali lama stuff. and lo and behold, some of the the most spiritual people are particle physicists...and i had to try to find out why. an interesting journey...PS - this search opened up a little side path, part of which had me asking if i should keep certain info to myself, if you recall...still not sure, but i did take the advice i received from that q, the info is safe...a small hint, the subject of this question has more to it .......
I know, but have no intention, either, of persuing that line...
free, for sanity sake keep the info to yourself.russ beg pardon for a moment. free if you are interested in Eastern religion meets physics I suggest 'The Tao of Physics' by Frijof Capa and should point out that Capa did not come in fro left field but is in fact a highly regarded theoretical physicist. I found his ideas interesting to say the least.
hypothetical
I asked YOUR opinion...
Yes
I like the Related Questions on this.Wow! I just learned a lot.And from the little reading I just did, yeah I think it's there, or ,over there.Heck, where'd it go?
on a "Mission of Gravity..." or a grave thing...
Hi Russ, The "Graviton's" relatives namely the "Quarks, Leptons and Glutons" suggest he does exist! ;)
Cat- somebody wants a "DNA " test...
:) You could be right Russ, think I'll ponder on that suggestion whilst sipping my primordial soup! ;)
It sure does russ look here:http://www.answers.com/topic/gravitron
