you paid 300 bucks for a 2000 honda, I say get the little stuff fixed and your still ahead, darn thing will probably run forever.
no thats how much i paid to get the headlight shortage fixed
It depends. It can take forever to hunt down an electrical shortage, there are no book hours for it, it's simply a guess and to follow the wires through until you find the cause. Frequently there are multiple causes and a person can spend 8 hrs and never find the problem. $300 I'm guessing you were charged for approx. 4 hours shop rate. If the short was in your steering column, circuitry, main wiring harness or fire wall he may have actually been nice to you. Many garages have a disclaimer for electrical work on or near their labor rate signs for this reason.
