all cars can use ethanol depending on the percentage most co. that use it mix 10% to their gas
all cars can use ethanol but they need to be fitted with special apparatus I think.
Any car that doesn't mind losing miles per gallon!I don't believe ethanol is efficient. In fact, it's been subsidized by the gov. in it's research and production, but I am sure that will soon end. Ethanol plants now realize how shortlived their gov. funding is. The workers know how unefficient it really is too.
shoot.....I'd better back that up w/ sources. :( What I know from people that I know isn't always the best to spill here.I'll find some source......hold on. lolOooooooooooooh.....cool! Here it is in the Wall Street Journal too....whoohoo! You know, sometimes, I just luck out....whew! http://online.wsj.com/article/SB117944988866807071-search.html?KEYWORDS=ethanol&COLLECTION=wsjie/6month
Gasoline may contain a percentage of ethanol up to ten percent. 'E-85' gas has 15 percent ethanol. No gas engine will run correctly on straight 100% ethanol. Some cars are designed to use E-85. Search for E-85 vehicles here...http://www.e85fuel.com/e85101/flexfuelvehicles.phpor here...http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/byfueltype.htm
All cars can run on up to 10% ethanol. Almost all gas stations include up to 10% ethanol. If you want to burn more than 10%, you need a car that can use E85 fuel which is 85% ethanol. Just keep in mind that the more ethanol in the fuel, the lower your mileage will be.
race cars like indy cars.
