Won't happen. As you note, a fill-up costs more than most of us carry around in our wallet. The first station that tries to do it will find it's customers crossing the street to the station that still takes 'em.
Very true! Thanks!
If you look at the price on the gas tank when you go to fill up, THEN look at your receipt (if you charge the gas on a credit card), you'll see on your receipt that you paid 3 to 5 cents per gallon more because you charged it. The gas companies are going to force people to get THEIR credit cards.
It would seem this way but in today's paper, the owner was quoted saying he will not accept it any more! Thank you!
Lisa..rumor only...that won't happen, not now, not ever.
But Russ..I read it in the paper! It must be true!!!! :) Thank you!
One owner perhaps..never nation wide, believe half of what you read.
I was kidding Paul! I don't even believe half any more! But there is one station who is doing it so I shall see what happens! People do not general carry that much cash except of course if you are the very rich whackmaster!!!!
Rich? Your info is way off!
But I heard you are also called "money bags" ! It's not true!!!!!
Nope must have been talking about your hubby....Your resources are mis-informed...
I hope they don't stop letting us use credit and/or debit cards at the pump. I don't carry around much cash either. I charge everything and pay just one big bill a month. I don't charge more than I know I can afford, so I don't have to pay interest.
Exactly! Thank you!
Well, for some people "life sucks, then they die".
Not you Jim! You have us!!!! Thank you!
no way
One guy is trying it but he may not afford to not accept plastic!
that is crazy but i see a government supplement for taking plastic in the future
