Have you ever donated a car to charity?
I just did, I gave www.carangel.com my 97 Taurus SHO, it still runs but needs work, I was gonna use it as a trade in but figured I would get more value from it by helping those that are without, that and it's been sitting in my driveway for almost a year now and spider webs are anchoring it down, LOL

Yes, it is great to do that especaily when your not going to get what you need or want on a trade in. What better way to give back.

its good to do. some charities use the idea of a tax benefit, but it is slim to nothing. just look at it as having that d@#n thing out of the driveway

I've not donated one to charity but I did give my car to my daughter when I bought a new one. Her husband had a car but it was not dependable at all. Giving the car to her gave me a lot of pleasure. Now at least they have one dependable car between them. Maybe when I get my next one I'll donate the one I have now to a charity. I know it will make me feel good to help others that are less fortunate than I.
