Keith Viera
Can a person change his or her career even when he's 40 years old?
Will business/employers be ok with that? I heard there was a disadvantage of trying to change careers later in life...
Answer this question
Dick:

People do it all the time, it all depends on how bad you want it, and how well you prepare your self for the change. Some changes come as a natural progression of life or gained knowledge, others demand education and or training but changes can be and are made at any age.

a lot of people are getting into new careers the last few years, with all the factory closings around me, people are being forced to go back to school since there are no other jobs around. alot of the people I know are in their 30's and 40's and lost their job of 10 years or more and have no other choice but to go back to school and learn a new profession, one that will be more stable in the area
