best value for the buck is the opal, always has been the opal. no cachet, not much for styling, but the easiest on the pocketbook, best milage, very good crash ratings, (something opal has always excelled in), and roomy with just enough pick up and go.
Opal has never tried to be the stylish car, theyve tried, and succeded, in making a car that will last forever, with good metal and good interior quality, (the seats wont crack, everything is built able to take punishment). And a plus, resale is good, opals reputation is similar to hondas...

this could be because i owned one of the first opals ever made, and after i crashed it at 70mph i walked away. and after 50,000 miles it looked good, until i turned it into a little metal lump...
