belt is better lot quieter, smoother & less maintenance than chain
Neither, I prefer the shaft drive on my V-Star, that and the extra 10 grand in my bank because I didn't waste it buying a name, cause a name is all you get when you buy a Harley, my bike runs better, smoother, and I get just as much sun and wind.
aahhh - that's what everybody says that doesn't own a Harley...
AMEN, buddy, AMEN! Lots of lookalikes out there. You either HAVE a HARLEY, or, you WANT one!!!
Thats why the market is flooded with Harleys for sale, ROFL.
I neither have a Harley nor do I want one, I could have bought my brothers turd,.... I mean sportster if I wanted a Harley, Instead I opted for my look alike dyna wide glide, less the 18k price tag.:o)
shaft drive is ok if you don't mind loosing 30% of your power!
Chain, because the chain wont wear out as fast and when a belt snapps and your going down the road.. oh the horror!
yeah - I hear this a lot... I just purchased a 90 sportster... last year of the chain drive... i love it
Sportster, huh? Why did you want a dirt bike?
