Rules and tax involved in importing a pre-owned car from Oregon to Washington.
Living in Washington and found a pre-owned car I like in Oregon.What's the rule around purchasing used car from Oregon and bringing it up to Washington for registration? Will it be taxed when I try to register the car in Washington?

That's not "importing" LOL.
Just get the form from your police station for licensing and registering, just as with any other car. :)

Your question is unclear. You always have to pay a tax on the purchase. They used to take your word on the price which you said you had paid. Now I believe they use a book to calculate the sales tax at registration. $

You should contact the DMV for exact info. They always seem to want another form or something that you will need!
