If your talking about changing the code to your automatic garage door opener First: you have to get a ladder or some kind of stepstool to access the garage door opener in your garage. Inside the small box on the outside or the access cover near the antenna there is a rocker switch assembly to set the desired code. Note the code for the next step. Second: then change the code inside your remotes to the same code and test to verify operation. Bam easy as that!
I dont think they're all the same, you should look up the manual or call the distributor for support
