Aren't they already getting paid to drive you around? Why do we need to pay them more? The only place I believe in tipping is restaurants, and coffee stands other than Starbucks. But anyway, I would say, $3-5 I guess?
Ooooh, la-de-da, Limo eh?Just kidding.I don't agree with tipping, it bugs me when people expect it for doing the job they're paid for.I would tip if they went out their way to help, something outwith their expected job.I got groceries delivered from the supermarket once, not only were the groceries paid for, but so was the delivery charge, so I was charged for them to be delivered, I didn't give the guy a tip, it's his bloody job, he gave me the look of death, as if I'd insulted him or something, it bloody annoyed me, expecting a tip for doing his job, what a cheek.
In the US, delivery people and servers in bars and resturants are generally paid $2 - $3 per hour as they are EXPECTED to earn tips. That hourly rate will not pay anyones bills.
OK, but that guilt should not be put onto the consumer who has already covered all charges, especially in a country where minimum wage is the law.
It depends....was it a short ride, or all night? 5% to 20%
$100i think!!!!
I use a limo probably 6 times a year. Usually from the ferry terminal to a restaurant and back. I usually pay the driver $50 each way.
Limo drivers arevery well trained and take very possible step to ensure that your journey is acomfortable one. A customary tip of 15-20% is what a trained limo driverdeserves for his work. An amount less than this are something against theetiquettes. The tip amount should be handed to the limo driver by you in anenvelope. Source : http://www.limoslimos.com/
