I don't understand either BMC,like other things that make too much sense the just don't happen. Is California one of the "At Will" states, this might have something to do with it. We all know Obama is huge on the unions, and he may not want any competition for the big three ?

People are having problems purchasing new cars, and many more are having problems with keeping the cars thy have...$$$The Tesla is a beautiful car and I would love to have one, however - with the economy the way it is, I don't see how a bank would be able to justify the risk in funding the manufacture of a high priced Hybrid.
Hi CWFirst I would say if a stimulus package is intending to fund 5 billion to orgs. like ACORN I would much rather have that money go to Tesla, they have standing orders, and it is Green lol but it is a flag ship industry and I find it sad that Ca. isn't giving the support it needs to get the loan for a new facility. i want one and the price will come down.
I would really like to get one but the price tag is way too high. Hoping that this car doesn't fade into history as being a great car that was never built ,due to the economy of the time.
