spent many a wonderful hour there in the 70's and early 80's. Saw things and places most can't, but i had some friends who kinda "own" the town. great place to go, especially on the train if you're on the east coast.
I think the better question is... Why would you want to go to DC?
It's an all expense paid trip.
I won't go anywhere that you cannot carry a gun. Why is DC allowed to violate the 2nd ammendment anyway?
Marv it's a district not a state and they have some strange people there with stranger beliefs.have a great one M !!
So the constitution really doesn't apply in DC. That is why our Gov is so f'ed up!= D
constitution was signed on by states, up until last few years they had little say in anything. G.Washington thought it be better that way. but you're right they are a law unto themselvesthanks!
I am trying to figure out how the people that Govern our land can live in area that doesn't follow our basic premise for law and civil order. That really behooves me and will prompt my next question, feel free to answer.
You better stay outta Southeast and Northeast DC...Southeast is pretty rough, Florida, and Deleware avenues are a no no!
Does the President ever look out his back window at the poverty a few blocks from the White House? If he does, what do you think goes through his mind?
