The landlord/owner of the complex keeps letting our water bill getting out of hand...
yesterday I saw a final notice for over $1100. Water is included with the rent. If it happens to get shut off, is there anything that us tenants can do about it. The water company will not give us any info because the account isn't in our name. We live in Butte Mt.

As a Realtor and lender, I often see HUGE utility bills at closing ... especially water bills.

Laws will vary by individual State, but your landlord will probably be taken to task by a local unit of government, if ever he allows the water to be shut off on rental property. You may wish to contact the PIRG in your State (see link below) for further information.

If in your contract its stated that water is included you guys can sue him so that he pays the service....

There isn't any type of contract.
