I'm trying to copy protect a few DVDs that we are recording and selling. Anyone know how?

I'm starting a small home business where we record peoples personal and family histories. We need to find a software or something to copy protect the DVDs. So far all I can find is ways to un-protect the DVDs. How do we protect them?

What you want is called Digital Rights Management, or DRM. There is no perfect security because they can all be bypassed if you're a super-geek.

Anyways, you're going to have to spend some money for anything worthwhile. Two of the most popular DRM companies are SecuROM and LASERLOCK. ( and (

They charge on a per license basis. But remember, not DRM is perfect.
