how do i fix popup stating a recent attempt to attack your computer has been blocked?

pops up in lower right of screen every minute! how to make it stop?

That sounds like a message that I have seen before on computers that have Norton antivirus installed. I don't remember exactly how, but if you click on the message there is a way to tell it not to notify you when it does block an attack. I believe it is a check box on either the popup or the screen after clicking on the popup...
Note: I don't think this is some spyware on your computer because once again I have seen Norton do this before... so you can either play with it and look for the checkbox I'm talking about or call them up.

already have it...not a reg popup....its from symantec antivirus

Do you have pop up blocker software? Also, do you run some sort of adware program?

Check with symantec. If you have norton and symantec, they are probably competing. Did you just install one of them?

Install the GOOGLE toolbar, it has a built in popup blocker.
