I know of an area youth who has had charges brought against him for this very reason. Incident happened about month ago...now he faces charges, serious charges of concealment with what they called a "deadly weapon with intent to harm" and, because he is 17yrs, he is being tried as adult. I think he was just having fun with some area children, but now it's turned to a "nightmare" for him and his family. So....I'm think'n "yes", charges can be brought.

what age is this ''minor'' and why they would consider charging him. i mean this wouldnt be an issue for a 6 yr.old hiding it in his pants for playtime. now if a fourteen year old concealed it but there was an intent to pass it off as a real gun then yes they could. it dosent matter that it was only an air gun i would think the intent of the person carrying it, especially if used in the commission of a crime. It would also depend on the law for that state and what they would consider a chargeable offense. just another guess.

Before you go getting silly, think of what might happen when someone with a real gun sees it and thinks it is real. You could end up dead. Leave it home.
