Will Yahoo stand firm or eventually cave in to a yet bigger cash offer from Microsoft? Will
Microsoft make another offer?..or is this all over with?

It's all over. Microsoft dropped the bid. Yahoo! was asking for $37 per share but Microsoft was only willing to go $33 per share. Yahoo! is now pressured to partner up with Google to keep its operations profitable.

Oamey:

Its all over. At least for now Yahoo will be Yahoo and Microsoft will still be Microsoft. I hope they don't try to buy it again mainly because they don't need Yahoo and never will.
And I'm kind of tired of seeing these types of questions on QnA. No offense.
