What license(s) do I need to begin a Youth Rec Center & Staffing Agency that provides training & Ed
Disadvantage youths in NC have no options after grad. Most end up a statistic during high school because they can not find an appropriate hang out spot ( sorry trying to be hip )Most must work to assist their families and can not attend college. I intend to provide both. A rec center that offers paid training while attending college. Qualifications to remain as my employee in my organization is to continue an appropriate passing grade level. Placement will be available. Just think, while obtaining DEGREE and gaining the experience for that profession.

No more than a business license . There are many businesses that do this through their local county workshops.
The school counselors could give you specific information to qualify for school credits during school hours.

The Workforce Investment Board (the "WIB") has a -33- member Board of Directors, which operates under the guidelines of the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA). The Chairperson of the Board must be a business representative, and the Board must have a majority of business members. This assures that private employers have a strong "voice at the table".
The WIB Board of Directors is the policy maker for programs that serve Adults, Youth, and Dislocated Workers (who have lost their jobs due to plant closures or layoffs.) The Board is also responsible for overseeing a 27-member collaboration of educational, training, and employment-related entities that operate the Solano Employment Connection (SEC).
