how to calculate the annualized rate for a discount rate of 2% 10 net 30 days?

No name:

I would look at it this way: It costs you 2% to hold the money an extra 20 days. There are 18.25 20 day periods in a year (365/20). Multiply 18.25 by 2% and you get a 36.5% annual rate. In other words, always pay within 10 days!
