Let's just say, If I had my way when I was 16 I'd have The Rolling Stones logo on my shoulder!! Thank god I didn't do it.

lol.......You know its not about disliking tattoos....I think they are an expression of ones personality....but in your case......lol.....at 16 having a big tongue on your shoulder might have given the wrong immpression.........lol(or not)....its an adult thing.....I think.

FYI- I saw the Stones live.....waited outside overnight to get fantastic seats....one of the best concerts EVER!!

before your 20 i would say, but i got my first ink when i was 19. It was my husbands name. Not that I regret that I married the man... BUT DONT EVER PUT YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHERS NAME ON YOU. We were together less than a year after words. COVER UP!

what do you have to do to get it removed.......can some tattoos be removed and some can't??

18 in the UK with or without parents permission but you have a two week cooling off period first(incase your under the influence)

lol.....I always think about those people who are 20 something.....have they ever really thought about what that"artwork" is going to look like when they are 60...I guess I just never got hooked on the idea.....especially when kid's who go to my son's highschool have got them....lots of kids do......its like a popularity thing......I don't agree with it personally.....

I guess size does matter(lol) to some whether it is less wrong, or OK to get one......I just think at some point it should be not allowed......10 years, 12 years, 18 years old...some age should draw the line.....regardless of the size......

I think 21 is a good age, that way they are at least on a path to somewhere, with more common sense. also a sense of who they are has developed. So many people think they know who they are and where they are going at a younger age, but we all know that is not so! They end up creating an immage and then spend the rest of their lives trying to live up to it, because they can't erase what they have done.
